Life, Business & Boy Mum Adventures: 3 Months Abroad (And Why I Built This Life)

There’s a version of motherhood, business and freedom that we were never shown.

Most people picture success as the nice house, the growing business, between back-to-back Zoom calls, the ‘balance’ we’re supposed to strive for.

Though here’s the truth: I didn’t want balance.
I wanted freedom.
I wanted presence.
I wanted to live fully in the experience of both motherhood and mission and I wasn’t willing to sacrifice one to have the other.

The ‘Insta Perfect’ vs The Real Life

It’s funny, when you see a photo online, you see the curated moment.

The boys smiling, the plane rides, the zoo trips, the beautiful scenery. And yes, those moments are real. They’re sacred. They’re treasured.

Though what most don’t see is what’s behind the photo:
The two little monkeys sprinting through airport terminals.
Us wrangling them through busy markets while they practice their very advanced "selfie" skills.
The 6am wake ups in a different timezone, trying to sneak in a moment of stillness before the adventure begins.

And this is why I say: this isn’t a holiday. This is our life.

Because this is the life we’ve intentionally built, not just for the photo albums, but for the freedom to choose how we spend our days, where we educate our children, how we run our businesses, and who we get to become in the process.

The First Stop: Singapore 🇸🇬

We kicked off our 3-month global chapter in Singapore, a vibrant, safe, and deeply energising country that we instantly fell in love with.

From feeding rhinos, exploring vibrant city streets, chasing the boys through parks, to exploring cultures that expand their little minds, it’s exactly what I dreamed of for our family.

Not just school.
Not just textbooks.
Though real-world experience.
Real immersion.
Real global education.

Because I don’t want my kids growing up seeing only the four walls of a classroom. I want them to know how big the world is. How diverse. How beautiful. How possible.

The Business That Built This

Years ago, I made a very deliberate choice.

I was done playing by rules that didn’t feel true for me.
Done answering to schedules that weren’t my own.
Done sacrificing presence for performance.

I wanted a business that would serve my family while serving the world.

And that’s exactly what we’ve built:

• A purpose-led, deeply mission-driven brand.

• A global business that gives us full autonomy.

• A model that allows us to roam freely, worldschool our boys, and pour into our clients while fully present with our family.

• A life where my husband and I get to lead together, raise our children in alignment, and choose our pace.

You Can Build It Too

Now let me be really clear:
This didn’t happen by accident.
This wasn’t handed to me.
It was built.

Brick by brick.
Decision by decision.
Risk by risk.

And I share it not to say look what I’ve done, but to say:
You can do this too.

Because there is a version of your life and business that holds both ambition and alignment.
Impact and peace.
Wealth and presence.
Expansion and deep soul-anchored freedom.

The Next Chapter: Japan 🇯🇵

We’re now in Japan, and to say we’ve fallen in love would be an understatement.

Every day feels like another layer of magic, from the culture to the people, the food, the history, the energy. Watching our boys experience the world this way is the very reason we built this life in the first place.
